To fulfill its mission, CPC interacts with the different public powers as well as other social actors. In its capacity as maximum representative of the private sector in Chile, it is continuously presenting initiatives to the Executive Power and participating in the mixed committees in operation in the different ministries and public services so as to advise the respective governmental authority
Likewise, it works on the generation of initiatives aimed at perfecting the institutionality in force on various issues of national interest, so as to provide the business perspective to the work of the legislative power.
In the sphere of civil society, it maintains close ties with unions, workers, universities, educational centers and the media.
CPC maintains relations with similar foreign institutions. It is a member of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), the main private organization dealing with commercial issues in the world, whose National Chilean Committee operates in the CPC itself. It is also affiliated to the International Organization of Employers (OIE), the most relevant international organization in relation to the issue of labor and represents Chilean businesspeople in the activities of the International Trade Organization (OIT).
